The wedding of South African bride Kim and Bryce, the groom from Belgium at the breathtaking wedding venue of MolenVliet in the Cape Town winelands brought a vibrant group of international guests together to celebrate in style.

The Wedding Design Vision: Classic with a Dash of Fun

Kim and wedding designer Keelyn from I Do Box worked together on a brief for the wedding day vision. Kim wanted the feeling of classic elegance with a touch of fun. She loved the color palette of greens, whites, and pinks to set the tone for a timeless celebration. An element that Kim wanted was a rooftop adorned with flowers cascading over the reception tables — a detail that Keelyn and the florist team at Fleur le Cordeur transformed into a breathtaking reality.

In Kim's own words, "Keelyn completely understood the brief and took it to another level - the lights twinkled, the colors were amazing, and the table setting had mirrors that reflected beautifully. I don't think it could have been any better!"

The Bride's Radiant Look

Kim was striking in a stunning embroidered mermaid-style dress, her flowing red hair softly curled.

The Ceremony and Pre-Drinks

The couple exchanged vows in a sunny outdoor setting beneath the shade of trees at Molenvliet. It was a heartfelt ceremony, made even more special as Kim's father walked her down the aisle—a moment rich with emotion and significance.

The festivities continued for the stylish guests with a vibey African marimba band and delicious canapes. Chic lounge pockets created an ambiance of sophistication and joy.

The Reception: Roses and Romance

The team from Fleur le Cordeur orchestrated a masterpiece—a cascading roof of roses that adorned the tables, creating a romantic and dreamlike atmosphere. Crystal chandeliers and hundreds of candles added a touch of magic to the evening. Special speeches, a delightful dinner, and a dance floor filled with love and laughter made the reception an unforgettable celebration of Kim and Bryce's union.

The Bride’s Favourite Moments

The first time I saw the reception was very special - it was so beautiful, I cried! My husband's speech - when he turned to me and said "and to my wife" and I just melted! I won't forget that moment.

My dad was extremely ill running up to the wedding, he was discharged from hospital especially to come. So him walking me down the aisle was very special.

I really loved all our suppliers - they were all so lovely and made the day so calm and memorable for us.
