“Oh my goodness, I could never imagine our wedding being quite as wonderful without the guidance, organisation, support, direction, creativity and fun that I Do Box provided for us. We truly felt from the beginning to the end that Keelyn was on our side and just wanted to make the day everything that we had imagined, which she did. Not only did we love the magic she created for us on the day of the wedding, but we absolutely loved spending time with her leading up to the wedding.
Never before had we met someone who comes across as so calm and collected whilst still being very organised, and a magician when it comes to multi tasking. We adore Keelyn and the I Do Box team, and it was a pleasure working with them.”

Amy And Calvin Get Married at La Paris
Amy and Calvin’s wedding at La Paris in Franschhoek was worth waiting for. The wedding was originally planned for 2020 and had to be moved out because of Covid. When the beautiful couple - an artist designer and a farmer from Zambia - and all of their nearest and dearest finally got together to celebrate, it was a festival of colour, happiness and love!
As wedding planners, we love the unique details that a couple brings to the day - the things that really make the celebration true for them as a couple. This Franschhoek wedding was extra special because the bride, Amy, is an artist, and she personally designed and illustrated many of the elements of the wedding decor. The illustrations represented her and Calvin’s life together - their favourite drink (tequila on the rocks!), palm tree kisses to represent Sundays spent under a precious palm tree in their garden, and natural elements to show their love for the outdoors and nature. Amy’s happy illustrations added such a quirky pop of joy and individuality to the day.
“One of our nicknames for each other is “Bug.” Our parents wore bug brooches, and my nephew came dressed as a caterpillar, which was hilarious!” ~ Amy
The happiness continued throughout, with gorgeous floral installations by Heike from Fleur le Cordeur and fresh and fun furnishings by Scape Events.
The wedding ceremony was framed by bright floral fixtures and breathtaking Franschhoek mountainscapes. The stylishly suited groom and his guys waited while flower-crowned flower girls in white, followed by the bridal party in pop-of-colour powersuits set the tone for Amy’s arrival. The bride was spectacular in a clean cut white gown by Sadie Bosworth, finished with a stunning cape with hand drawn illustrations drawn by Amy herself.
“A favourite memory of the day was when just the two of us returned to the ceremony and drinks area once our guests had all moved into the reception area. We took a quiet moment to reflect on our favourite moments of the day so far, to soak in the beauty around us and to enjoy some delicious food!” ~ Amy
The wedding reception venue was a wonderland of colour with flowers cascading down from the ceiling and lush, floral couch pockets welcoming happy guests. A favourite was Scape’s bright blue floral couch framed by pastels and palms - such a vibrant gathering spot!
Guests were treated to a dinner feast by Annalize Catering, followed by the dessert table of dreams and wedding cake by Sweet LionHeart. Amy changed into her own white powersuit (with high tops!) and she and Calvin opened the dance floor in style.
