Hannah and Brett’s Romantic Destination Wedding 

Hannah and Brett’s Franschhoek wedding was the stuff destination wedding dreams are made of. 

The couple - an American bride and South African groom living in the USA - wanted to create a special and intimate destination wedding for their friends and families to enjoy in the stunning Cape Winelands. La Cotte in Franschhoek was the ideal venue, setting the scene for a perfect summer celebration in South Africa! 

We combined classic elements with modern pops to represent the couple’s classic yet cool style. Pops of colour in the stationery by Kerrith, romantic and rambling florals by Anli Wahl, textured linens and the pure beauty of the natural surroundings brought the vision to life. 

Hannah looked exquisite in a classic gown by Anti Bride and makeup and hair by Algria Ferreira and Jeanette Genis. 

The outdoor ceremony was intimate, surrounded by the stunning Cape mountains and rambling roses. Guests continued to enjoy the sensational summer weather with an alfresco dinner set in the romantic La Cotte courtyard, framed by rambling bougainvillaea and lit by candlelight. Annalize and Chef Ollie prepared a family-style feast, and cake by Cake Patisserie Studio was the cherry on top of a special meal before Hannah, Brett, and their favourite people danced the night away.
